Arabic Fattoush Salad Recipe
A refreshing Middle Eastern salad with crispy pita bread and fresh vegetables.

- 2 pieces Pita Bread toasted and broken into pieces
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
- 1 cup Cucumber diced
- 1 cup Bell Pepper diced
- ¼ cup Red Onion thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
- ¼ cup Fresh Mint chopped
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Sumac
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
1. Toast the pita bread until crispy, then break into pieces.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, parsley, and mint.
3. Add the toasted pita pieces to the bowl.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and black pepper.
5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
6. Serve immediately.
