Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves Packed
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add basil leaves and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Strain the syrup into a jar and discard the basil leaves.
Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
