Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the frying pan over medium heat and add the butter.
  2. 2. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, gently crack the eggs into the pan.
  3. 3. Cook the eggs until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4. Tilt the pan slightly and use a spoon to baste the tops of the eggs with the hot butter.
  5. 5. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for another minute or until the yolks are cooked to your liking.
  6. 6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
