  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Serve hot over rice or your favorite side dish.
