- 1 head Cabbage large
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Carefully remove leaves from the cabbage head and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until pliable. Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
4. Place a small amount of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
5. Arrange the cabbage rolls in a baking dish, seam side down. Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour, until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
