Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, diced
  • 1 cup Celery, diced
  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 cup Frozen peas

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth, add the shredded chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
