  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder, cubed
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Roasted green chilies, chopped
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the cubed pork shoulder over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  3. 3. Stir in the flour, cumin, and oregano, cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add the roasted green chilies and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours, until the pork is tender.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
