Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Conch meat, finely chopped
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 large Egg
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ cup Bell pepper, finely chopped
- ¼ cup Onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Vegetable oil, for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
2. Add the egg and milk, whisk until smooth.
3. Stir in the conch meat, bell pepper, onion, salt, and black pepper.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Remove fritters and drain on paper towels.
7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
