Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Yellow Squash, sliced
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Dip squash slices in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.
Coat squash slices in cornmeal.
Fry squash slices in hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove squash from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot and enjoy!
