Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head Cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots grated
  • 1 cup Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seed

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and chopped green bell pepper.
  2. In a saucepan, bring vinegar, sugar, salt, and celery seed to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the vegetables and mix well.
  4. Let the mixture cool completely, then pack into freezer bags and freeze.
  5. To serve, thaw in the refrigerator overnight and drain any excess liquid before serving.
