Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 cups Chicken broth
  • ½ cup Orzo pasta
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Lemons, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the orzo pasta and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. 3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and lemon juice.
  4. 4. Slowly add a ladle of hot broth to the egg mixture, whisking constantly to temper the eggs.
  5. 5. Gradually add the egg mixture back to the pot, stirring constantly.
  6. 6. Add the shredded chicken, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  7. 7. Stir in the fresh dill and serve hot.
