Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Oxtails
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Season oxtails with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown oxtails on all sides.
  3. 3. Remove oxtails and set aside. Add onions and garlic to the pot, sauté until softened.
  4. 4. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add tomato paste, beef broth, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
  6. 6. Return oxtails to the pot. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 3 hours or until tender.
  7. 7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
