Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb purple corn
  • 1 pineapple peeled and chopped
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar or to taste
  • 1 lemon juiced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine the purple corn, pineapple, apple, cinnamon stick, cloves, and water.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. 3. Strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
  4. 4. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. 5. Chill in the refrigerator before serving. Serve over ice if desired.
