Peruvian Chicha Morada Drink Recipe
A traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn, pineapple, and spices. Refreshing and full of flavor.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb purple corn
- 1 pineapple peeled and chopped
- 1 apple chopped
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 5 cloves
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar or to taste
- 1 lemon juiced
1. In a large pot, combine the purple corn, pineapple, apple, cinnamon stick, cloves, and water.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
3. Strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
4. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.
5. Chill in the refrigerator before serving. Serve over ice if desired.
