Main Ingredients
- 10 cups popped popcorn
- 1 cup sugar
- ⅓ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ cup butter cut into pieces
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large pot, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the mixture over the popped popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape into balls using buttered hands.
Place the popcorn balls on a baking sheet to cool completely.
