  • 1 piece Porterhouse Steak about 1.5 inches thick
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
  3. 3. Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Sear the steak in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until a crust forms.
  5. 5. Add garlic and rosemary to the skillet, then transfer it to the preheated oven.
  6. 6. Cook in the oven for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  7. 7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
