  • 1 pound Northern white beans dried
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Carrot chopped
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried

Instructions 

  1. Rinse and sort the beans.
  2. Add beans, onion, garlic, carrot, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and thyme to the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beans are tender.
  4. Stir occasionally and add more broth if needed.
