Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 can hominy, drained and rinsed (29 oz)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  2. 2. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, hominy, chicken broth, and water.
  3. 3. Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
