- 4 fillets Catfish
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 4 Hoagie rolls
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Hot sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. Mix cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning in a bowl.
2. Dip catfish fillets in buttermilk, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the fillets until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
4. Mix mayonnaise and hot sauce to make the sauce.
5. Spread sauce on hoagie rolls, add fried catfish, lettuce, and tomato slices.
6. Serve immediately.
